Who is Michael Shue
As a Senior Vice President at DDC Advocacy, Michael Shue serves as a principal strategist, partnering with Fortune 500 and trade association clients to design campaigns at the state, local, national, and international levels.
Michael brings more than a decade of campaign management experience to client engagements. His expertise and strategic counsel on major multi-year campaigns has benefited clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, consumer retail products, and defense.
Prior to his role as Senior Vice President, Michael developed DDC Advocacy’s industry-leading high-touch phone outreach capability, the Advocacy Center. Under his leadership, the department grew from a simple blueprint to an enterprise with over 400 at-home outreach professionals.
Before joining DDC Advocacy, Michael worked as a Coalition Manager with the DCI Group on key telecommunication and pharmaceutical issues. He also served as an associate with Americans for Tax Reform, and as a political operative for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), where he helped secure Senator Lisa Murkowski’s (R-AK) 2004 win.
A native Texan, Michael received his B.A. in Russian, East European, Eurasian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
