by Andrew Stanley

Posted on March 19, 2010

If you’re wondering how to make your organization’s Facebook page produce results for your advocacy program, then join us for a free webinar on Wednesday, March 24 at 2 p.m. about our newest product: AdvocacyApp™ for Facebook.

AdvocacyApp for Facebook is designed to turn your Facebook page into a true advocacy action center.   The application allows users to take action on your alerts without leaving Facebook, as well as virally share your action alert with their friends and via Twitter.  Plus, you can track activity in detail and fully integrate your Facebook efforts into your overall advocacy program.

During the webinar, we’ll provide a detailed tour of AdvocacyApp for Facebook, as well as show you how DDC Advocacy can support a complete Facebook presence.

  3. I am surprised that Facebook is considered useful and reliable enough for a serious campaign in issue advocacy.  I thought that the Facebook accounts were insecure and subject to hacking. Also, aren’t the site users focused on informal socializing with friends and family, sharing personal pictures and events? The seriousness of issue advocacy seems out of place or intrusive in that setting. This is a concept and use for Facebook that I would not have thought of. Now I am curious and I will look around for other Facebook accounts which have a commercial or issue focus.
