DDC Advocacy’s Rob Gazzola Elected to WASRG Board

Rob Gazzola, Vice President of Business Development at DDC Advocacy, was recently elected to the Board of the Washington Area State Relations Group (WASRG).  Rob’s extensive experience working with national organizations on state legislative issues as well as state based organizations will serve him well in his new role.

As one of the nation’s largest organizations dedicated exclusively to serving state government relations professionals, WASRG provides its corporate, trade association and public sector members with a unique and valuable opportunity to interact with their peers, key state officials and public policy experts.

WASRG Elects New Board Members

The Washington Area State Relations Group (WASRG) elected three new board members and reelected one current board member at its 2011 annual membership meeting, which was held February 11. The board members will serve three year terms, expiring in 2014.

New board members include: Rob Gazzola, vice president of business development at DDC Advocacy; Carol Juett, director of corporate relations at the Council of State Governments; and Kevin Silard, director of corporate relations  at the National Governors Association.

Ember Brillhart, manager of state relations at Honda North America, was re-elected to the WASRG board of directors. WASRG also announced its 2011 officers: Luke Harms, president; Laura Dooley, vice president; Scott Morris, treasurer; and Ashlen Anderson, secretary.
