DDC Advocacy Welcomes Political Pro Steve Rice
Public Affairs Veteran Marks the Latest Addition to the Company’s Growing Team of Seasoned Professionals
December 1, 2010 - Washington, DC – DDC Advocacy, the leading full-service advocacy firm, has appointed political and public affairs veteran Steve Rice as Vice President of Field Operations. In this role, Steve will utilize his vast experience in advocacy strategies and tactics, including grasstops, grassroots, coalition building, earned media and state lobbying, to oversee the firm’s national and state field operations.

Steve joins the DDC Advocacy team with more than 15 years of political and public affairs experience, including extensive field program management. Most recently, he was Director of Public Affairs for a national organization that serves as the largest private source of funding for food allergy research, and the voice for millions of families. He was also President of East-West Advocacy, which specializes in multi-state grassroots and public affairs campaigns.
Previously, Steve managed numerous grassroots campaigns for several Fortune 50 companies at Mercury Public Affairs/CrossLink Strategy group, where he developed and implemented strategies to mobilize consumers to advocate on behalf of public policy and business objectives.
