Front-End Web Developer

We are currently searching for a dynamic senior front end Web Developer to be a part of our newly formed Interactive Agency. 

 
The candidate for this role will be working on high profile and large-scale web projects with a team of six developers. In addition to these team members, the developers will be working hand-in-hand with our design team on implementations and improvements to our Interactive offerings. The candidate will also be working with the Web Development Manager on defining best practices, processes, and procedures for the team.

 
To succeed at this job, candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.  Candidates must have 5+ years of web development experience, a good understanding of Object Oriented languages (i.e. .NET).  Experience hand coding HTML, working with design tools such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus, and current exposure to GUI and standards-based web design is highly desirable.
 

Candidates who have strong experience with the following will be considered first:

· Table-less CSS development

· Writing JavaScript and AJAX from scratch

· Developing/debugging for multiple browsers (Recent versions of Firefox, IE 6, IE 7, IE 8, Safari, and Chrome)

· Hand coding HTML

· JSP/ JSLT (or ASP if .NET)

· XSL/XSLT

· Experience with Social Media Integration (Facebook, Twitter)

· Flash

Candidates must also have excellent communication skills so they can interact clearly with clients, internal stakeholders, our design team, and back-end developers.
