Field Manager

DDC Advocacy is currrently searching for a Field Manager.  The Field Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing grasstops initiatives on behalf of our clients.  Grasstops initiatives include local media and coalition-building campaigns, as well as recruitment of individual third-party supporters in local areas; therefore, we require someone with strong strategic capabilities and in-depth experience managing on-the-ground teams in the implementation of these types of campaigns.  Successful candidate will have extensive political or public affairs background, issue campaign experience, and a thorough understanding of grassroots tactics.  Ideal candidate will also enjoy a campaign-style work environment and be comfortable managing day-to-day aspects of campaigns and communicating directly with high-profile clients.


We require a minimum of three years of relevant full-time professional experience.  Internships, while valuable, will not be considered applicable toward the minimum experience requirement.  Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience working in a grassroots or public affairs firm.  Strong communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to represent clients and the company effectively are essential to success in this position.  Candidate should also have strong Microsoft Office skills, a good understanding of online advocacy tools, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing campaign requirements.
